A Graduate of Oregon State University, with a B.S. in Ag Economics, Mike has lived and worked in the mid-Willamette Valley his entire life, and he has spent more than 20 years in the grass seed industry. Mike began his career on a local seed farm operating equipment and a grass seed warehouse. While in college, he worked as a technician for a USDA grass seed breeding program.
After graduation he was production manager of Barenbrug USA, an international seed company. He was then a general manager and part owner of Lewis Seed Company for 10 years before leaving and starting Thomas Ag Services in 2009. Mike has served in the seed industry as president of the Oregon Seed Council and a board member of the Oregon Seed Trade Association.
Eric graduated from Oregon State University with a B.S. in Business Administration with an emphasis in Accounting. He also recently graduated from the Achieving Excellence in Community Development program at Harvard’s Kennedy School of Government. Eric has spent over 25 years working as a CFO or Controller in the manufacturing, transportation, nonprofit and service industries. Eric is excited to learn the grass seed industry.
While earning his B.S. in mechanical engineering, Henry spent time as a facilities engineer at a large production facility in Portland, OR. He brings with him a wide set of experience and skills covering everything from project management to fabrication and design.
A local to the Gem and Cache valleys, Jon has a wealth of experience and knowledge in dealing with the unique challenges of farming in the intermountain west. Jon received an associates degree in agriculture systems and joined us after 15 years in the fertilizer industry and 7 years in feed production.
