 Before founding Thomas AG in 2009, Mike Thomas served as Partner and General Manager of Lewis Seed Company in Oregon. With extensive experience in seed production, international seed operations, and more than a decade of executive management, he established Thomas AG to provide consulting and business development services to the seed industry.

Since its inception, Thomas AG has helped seed growers, suppliers, and customers successfully bring products to market. The company works closely with clients to develop brand programs, identify product opportunities, and create supply solutions that support long-term growth and success.

A notable achievement was Thomas AG's partnership with CHS to develop the CHS Seed Resources brand. The company played an integral role in building the brand strategy, selecting and developing product offerings, creating the website, and supplying seed products distributed through CHS retail locations across its network.

Thomas AG has built its reputation on being a neutral and trusted partner within the seed industry. This independent position allows the company to work across all segments of the industry, providing objective expertise, strategic guidance, and customized solutions that enhance the businesses it serves.  A Graduate of Oregon State University, with a B.S. in Ag Economics, Michael Thomas has lived and worked in the mid-Willamette Valley his entire life, and he has spent over thirty years in the grass seed industry. Michael began his career on a local seed farm as he ran equipment and a grass seed warehouse. While in college, he worked as a technician for a USDA grass seed breeding program. After graduation he was production manager of Barenbrug USA, an international seed company. He was then a general manager and part owner of Lewis Seed Company for 10 years before leaving and starting Thomas AG Services in 2009. Michael has served in the seed industry as President of the Oregon Seed Council and on the board of the Oregon Seed Trade Association. Michael has also farmed seed for years and currently has a seed farm in Preston Idaho.

Jon was raised on the Thomas/Jenkins Family farm in Niter Idaho. He went to school in Agriculture Systems at Ricks College. He has work in Agriculture for man years on farms, IFA as a professional applicator and Valley AG as a professional applicator and helped maintain the feed mill in Preston Idaho. He has worked with Michael for the past few years managing the production, trials, seed sales and fabrication.
